Bosch‘s First Hub Motor Is Made for the City
A great urban eBike has two jobs. It needs to move through the city, and it needs to look at home there.
Bosch’s new Hub Line does both.
Best known for its mid-drive motors, Bosch is expanding its portfolio with its first hub motor. Integrated into the rear wheel, the new system gives eBike designers more freedom to create a clean, harmonious silhouette while remaining fully connected to the Bosch smart system.
The result is an eBike that looks like something you’d actually want to be seen riding.

To show what that looks like in motion, Bosch follows three creatives through the cities they call home: Giant Rooks singer Fred Rabe in Berlin, breakdancer Carlota Dudek in Paris, and chef and content creator Paul Delrez in Brussels.
Their routines move between recording sessions, dance practice, local markets, and street-food events. Along the way, the Hub Line connects the people, places, and moments that shape each day. It is not simply transportation. It becomes part of the rhythm of the city.
