Highsnobiety's Fenn O'Meally stopped by Byredo's flagship store in London to meet brand founder Ben Gorham and find out how he built one of the most sought-after perfume brands.

At 6 foot 5 inches, Gorham looks every bit the former pro basketball player, having left the game behind to go to art school. While studying, he discovered a fascination with scents and particularly how they can stir different memories within people.

In our chat, Gorham also discusses his collaboration with OFF-WHITE, the time he met Takashi Murakami, and the process of creating his first scent. Check it out in the video above.

In other design news, we spoke to Virgil Abloh about breaking barriers and questioning everything.
