Double Tap to Zoom

It's no surprise that Casablanca brings the brightness again for SS22, but even we couldn't have expected what landed. The usual haul of bold tracksuits and silk pieces return, but a few items in the Casablanca SS22 collection really stand out.

For starters, silk shorts. The fact that they're supremely inappropriate in the current climate makes them all the more endearing. They're the hope we need that there are brighter, warmer times ahead. Dressed in pastels with Art Deco detailing — as is expected from the Paris-based label — the silk shorts are a defining aspect of the collection.

Elsewhere, though, there are more seasonally relevant pieces. SS22 sees Casablanca double down on outerwear. While you won't want to take on any rain or snow with the new-season outerwear, it's definitely not beyond belief that you can work them into transitional fits. Standout pieces come in the form of a two-tone tailored coat, graphic quilted hunting jacket, and a shell-embellished souvenir jacket.
