The first trailer for the movie version of stage musical Cats landed yesterday and Twitter is truly struggling to get its collective mind around how off-the-wall the new adaptation appears to be. Watch above.

The movie boasts a star-studded cast with names such as Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Jason Derulo, Judi Dench, and Sir Ian McKellen. All of them are covered in CGI fur and they sing and dance around various decadent sets. It's all pretty intense.

Immediately Twitter was flooded with viewers questioning various elements of the trailer, like why they all have human faces and "sexy breasts" for example, or why they're normal sized in one scene and then tiny in the next.
