Cristiano Ronaldo dismissed notions he might've been distracted by his ongoing tax problems with an emphatic hat-trick of goals to secure a draw for Portugal against Spain last night.

The Real Madrid star opened the scoring with a penalty in the fourth-minute and struck again with a low shot just before half-time after Spain's equalizer. However Spain hit back twice after the break to take a 3-2 lead into the dying moments of the game.

It seemed that would be the way the game would finish, but after being fouled outside the box Ronaldo took the resulting free-kick and delivered a swerving set-piece in to the top corner to rescue a point with the game finishing 3-3.
