Dr. Mario World is the result of a new mobile game partnership between Nintendo and LINE Corporation. NHN Entertainment will also participate in the development and operation of Dr. Mario World, which will initially be available in 60 countries for iOS and Android users. The game will be free to download, with options for in-app purchases.

The original Dr. Mario launched in 1990 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was designed to compete with Tetris, as players matched up different colored pills with corresponding viruses.

For now, this is all we have on Nintendo's upcoming Dr. Mario World mobile game, which is slated to release this summer.
