Highsnobiety

Snob Diaries is a personal recap of seasonal fashion and cultural events around the world, told through the lens of our staff and close friends. For Fièvre Paris, the next celebration in UGG’s Feel House series, social media star Selma Kaci-Sebbagh walks us through her night in Paris.

Every time I come back to Paris, I wonder why I ever left.

Last Thursday, I flew from Copenhagen to the French capital, landing in the morning to sunshine and blue skies. Bonjour Paris, I’m back! I was here to celebrate Fièvre Paris, a party hosted by UGG and Highsnobiety as part of the brand’s Feel House series. UGG has hosted Feel House events in LA, NYC, Palm Springs and Seoul before, creating sensory and playful experiences for the guests, so I was super excited to see what was in store for their Paris iteration.

I checked into The Hoxton, one of the most aesthetic hotels in the city, located in the 2nd arrondissement right next to the iconic Rex Club. When I got into my room, my excitement for the evening ahead doubled. What was waiting for me on my bed? A fresh pair of the new UGG Shasta Tall Boots. These shoes will literally have you super-snug through all of the harsh weather that winter will bring, trust me. The overall design is super strong. It’s definitely outdoorsy, but the details are on point, like the Vibram® ICETREK outsole and 3M laces. When I put them on in my room for the first time, it was like I had already worn them many times before — they just felt like home!

Oh, and there was also a giant croissant accompanying these. When Beyoncé asks, ‘Are you happy to be in Paris?’ my answer is most definitely ‘OUI.’ Let’s just stay, my day was starting off right.

I managed to have some time to catch up with old friends during the day and spend some time wandering around the city before heading to the UGG dinner. I love UGG as a brand because they have a real heritage and tradition behind them, but then events and activations like these show how inclusive and switched on they are with the new generation. My aunt used to have a pair of slippers from UGG that I would borrow from her all the time when I was younger, so the brand also just reminds me of community and family.

Fièvre Paris was all about bringing the heat, so I made sure my outfit for the night was going to keep me cool in the crowd. Now, I love boots, so it wasn’t hard to find the perfect fit to match my newest pair of UGG’s. I decided to style them with a slip dress from herskind, a black Supreme top, all my jewelry, a cute bag from Osoi, and, of course, a pair of vintage sunglasses.

The dinner was just perfect, 10/10. UGG took us downstairs to RIVIE, the restaurant in the hotel, where we had burgers and cocktails — my ultimate dream. All my IG favorites were at the table, and the vibes were immaculate. Because I’m that girl, I decided to take my bike to go to the party instead of the van that had been organized for us. At this point of the evening, it’s pouring with rain, but I really wanted to bike there and test out the Shasta's GORE-TEX layer. I love and have missed biking in Paris at night, so it just felt like a really beautiful full-circle moment (new core memory unlocked!).

When I arrived at Electric Paris, where the party was taking place, I was seriously impressed by the fashion fits I saw. My friend Nessie was wearing these fire LV men's jeans with the matching LV pouch, while my other friend Ida had the perfect streetwear-tomboy vibe going with a black leather jacket, Prada bag, and her white UGG Adirondack Boots to match. Baya had these mini shorts on with her UGG Shasta Tall Boots, which looked incredible, everyone loved her look.

UGG really leveled it up when it came to the interior design. To enter the party, you had to walk through a passageway that had a wavy-like structure built around it. A big white spiral staircase connected both floors that were covered in red light. The main area had a Chivas bar (that offered different Feel House inspired whisky cocktails) and the dance floor and DJ booth.

Upstairs was giving chill vibes with different corners with UGG sofas and armchairs where you could talk to friends — yes, I said it, you could actually hear and talk to people at the party. Trust me, some tea got spilled that night.

Andy 4000 opened the night with a bang, followed by Kirou Kirou and Miles Freedom. One of my favorite moments of the night was watching everyone on the dance floor stomping around in their UGG styles. A few times, I went upstairs just to appreciate the view of everyone dancing and showing their best moves — there was definitely some Paris fever in the air.

UGG really showed up in Paris, I felt so honored to be there and be feeling myself. When I headed back to the hotel, I had my giant croissant and plush UGG outfit waiting for me. Truly the perfect end to the night.
