There’s no language quite as universal as the grunts and yells that happen when people compete in a sports showdown. Take that basic concept and throw in some of the biggest ball-kickers and musicians in the world and you’ve got a recipe for Electronic Arts’ FIFA 19 World Tour.

After the release of FIFA 19 back in September, the video game maker packed up the cleats and controllers for one last world tour to end the year right. For this year’s epic showdowns between musicians and footballers, the World Tour kicked off with A$AP Rocky and Odell Beckham Jr. in New York before hopping across the pond to London.

In the U.K., grime king Stormzy and comedian, rapper and actor Michael Dapaah aka Big Shaq face off against Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford, footballers Presnel Kimpembe and Thomas Meunier go head-to-head against French rappers Niska and Alonzo. With all that on the menu and Abu Dhabi and Dortmund still to come, the tour is poised to be the perfect distraction for the holiday season.

In one of the first installments of the FIFA 19 World Tour, the action touched down among the skyscrapers of New York to give a battleground to A$AP Rocky and New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. While the two might’ve had comparable star power in the city that never sleeps, it would be an understatement to say the match was uneven. Beckham Jr. had been playing FIFA since 2001, but for A$AP Rocky, the young rapper to-be was busy flexing on board games and “being trash at sports.”

To see what went down, peep the first episode of EA SPORTS’ online video series and keep an eye out for more fire face-offs as the Electronic Arts’ FIFA 19 World Tour continues in London, Rio de Janeiro, Abu Dhabi, and Dortmund.

FIFA 19 Standard Edition is now available worldwide for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.
