Opening Ceremony has a line on the Japanese quai-tech wear line which produced, at times, complex garments, using high quality "tech" fabrics. Their nylon hooded parka showcased here is a great example of a lightweight tech heavy jacket which should protect you from the casual rain or even sun.The full shell itself is very much a storage compartment (when necessary) through length wise zippers. In the cold, you can throw in some other material into the pockets for a warming effect.
