Editor’s Notes: With its roots planted firmly in hip-hop culture, Karl Kani is a street-certified classic. The black-owned business was the linchpin of the rap clothing label boom in the 90s, inspiring rappers and moguls to become fashion entrepreneurs. Known for its iconic ‘signature-style’ logo and super relaxed silhouettes, Karl Kani continues its bold tradition, reintroducing staple silhouettes with a modern twist. An OG label, Karl Kani’s iconic legacy still resonates with a contemporary audience, thanks to its slick retelling of street-inspired essentials.
