The official full-length trailer for La La Land, the latest film from acclaimed Whiplash director Damien Chazelle, has arrived and it just might overwhelm you with its charm.

The film was shown at this year's Venice film festival in August, with critics lauding it as a "musical masterpiece", "soaring and gorgeous", and this year's "most dazzling movie experience". Since then we've had a few teaser clips (which you can see below) but nothing quite as revealing as this latest trailer, which gives us our best look yet at the uplifting drama set to hit theaters next month.

According to the official synopsis, the film sees Sebastian (Ryan Gosling) and Mia (Emma Stone) drawn together by their common desire to do what they love. But as success mounts, they are faced with decisions that begin to tear their love apart, as well as the dreams they worked hard to attain.

La La Land is set to hit theaters on December 9. Check out the full trailer above, and afterwards watch the previous teasers below.
