People travel far and wide to find inspiration forgetting that sometimes it can be found right on their doorstep. Each season Portuguese label Litoral makes new local discoveries that manifest in the brand’s latest collection. Its Spring/Summer ’17 collection continues to reinforce its inspirational journey along its surrounding coastline.

Litoral remains dedicated to unique, well-crafted garments that represent Portuguese design. The brand carefully selects fabrics and materials for elevated quality and comfort across all ranges. This season the label introduces several new key fabrics including 100% linen, soft oxford cloth and jerseys developed specifically for the brand.

The collection’s knitwear offering is entirely handmade; some designs have adopted a reversed jersey technique for a unique aesthetic. Key jackets utilize water repellent Olmetex fabric while swim shorts are quick drying.

Litoral slows things down in a world that rapidly makes, uses and then disposes of things. Everything from its handmade garments and exclusive materials to its calming lookbooks is refreshingly measured and thought out. The brand takes a long-term approach in favor of lasting quality over hype and of-the-minute trends.

Litoral’s SS17 collection is available now, find out more via its website.
