Meek Mill sat down on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night and spoke candidly with the host on a range of issues pertaining to America's criminal justice system. Watch above.

The appearance is to promote his new documentary series Free Meek which drops on Amazon Prime next week, so naturally he speaks with Colbert about his own experiences with the U.S. police.

"Last week they ruled for me to have a new trial to review the case I was initially put on probation for," Mill says, before going on to drop another bombshell. The same day he got that news, he signed a label deal with JAY Z.

"I'm not a felon anymore," Mill continues. "I'm not on probation anymore, I just have an open case and it's looking great."

Free Meek drops on Amazon Prime August 9. Watch the full interview above.
