There's a Texas tornado brewing. As ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Thursday, Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to trade Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Chris Paul and several draft picks. While talk of OKC finding a new landing spot for its star point guard has been brewing after Paul George’s decision to trade Oklahoma for LA, Westbrook’s final destination came as a surprise to more than a few.

According to sources, Westbrook was pushing for Houston because he wanted to reunite with former Thunder teammate and friend James Harden. Wojnarowski claims Thunder general manager Sam Presti worked with Westbrook to make the deal happen.
