Double Tap to Zoom

Snob Diaries is a personal recap of seasonal fashion and cultural events around the world, told through the lens of our staff and close friends. For the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix, Highsnobiety’s Jordan Victor-Harrison takes us through his weekend in Budapest with The Ritz-Carlton and Mercedes AMG.

Vroooooom Vrooooom! Buckle up for a tour of the European countryside on a journey to the Hungarian Grand Prix.

I headed on the ‘Road to Legendary’ car tour with Mercedes-AMG and The Ritz-Carlton to watch Mercede’s drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell compete for the title at this year's race.

We started the trip off in Vienna where we kicked things off with an outdoor dinner at the Dstrikt Steakhouse viewing the city's beautiful atmosphere and architecture.

The next day we set off for Budapest, where we got to drive through the countryside roads in a range of different Mercedes AMG-Petronas cars that each had bespoke artwork designed by Artist Partner, Louis-Nicolas Darbon.

Once we made it to Budapest we were treated to a fun cocktail masterclass and Q&A with Lewis Hamilton, where we made spicy margaritas (alcohol free ofc!) with his very own tequila label Almave.

And finally, we headed for our two day stint at the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix weekend where we got to lounge in style at the track's paddock club whilst overlooking the race and its vibrant atmosphere, the best part for me was getting a behind-the-scenes look at drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell’s Mercedes garage space and seeing how much effort goes into them and their teams getting ready for a race.
