Editor’s Notes: Highsnobiety's summer drop has arrived. Our first cut-and-sew collection, the release includes everything from technical nylon pants to 50s-style knitwear to give your wardrobe a seasonal refresh.

Made from lightweight materials, our team designed the collection with travel in mind. The easily packable pieces are perfect to throw into a suitcase and will have you covered for any activities you have planned this summer. Whether that's swimming, hiking, and — according to our lookbook — racing monster trucks.

Creating the perfect pants and shorts was a particular focus of this release, we wanted to make pieces that are lightweight and durable to suit summer adventures. Made from Japanese nylon, there are seven different pant and shorts models to choose from, all of which are geared towards a different style.

Included in the selection are crepe nylon shorts and pants that have a subtle sheen and crinkled texture produced from a specialized heat process, cargo pants in lightweight ripstop nylon with reinforced knees, and contrast-stitch pieces featuring a water-friendly back pocket vent (perfect for when a friend inevitably pushes you in a pool).

Rounding off the legwear is two models of swim shorts, one with tonal HS branding on the leg for a more minimal look and another with contrast stitching and two-tone branding.

To pair with the pants are a range of tops, from light jackets to loosely-knit tank tops that will have you covered in heatwaves and on brisk summer evenings.

For outerwear, Japanese nylon is once again utilized to create a contemporary take on a coach jacket as well as a poplin overshirt that riffs off a stereotypical pajama shirt to create a more formal piece of outerwear.

In the way of shirts, there are knit polo shirts and bowling shirts dropping with a distinct 50s vibe along with boxy camp-collar shirts made from various lightweight cotton fabrics. Layer one of these shirts over the loose-knit t-shirts or vests for when the weather really starts to heat up.

Complimented by a selection of accessories, including matching caps, bandanas, and tote bags, check out the full collection in the lookbook above. The Highsnobiety Summer 2022 collection is available to shop now.
