Everyone from Stephen King to Guillermo del Toro is talking about Tigers Are Not Afraid. Now, the Issa Lopez-directed fantasy-horror film has its first official trailer.

The dark fairy tale tells the story of ghosts that haunt the children caught up in Mexico's drug war. Take a look at the trailer above.

Tigers Are Not Afraid, earned Lopez 10 nominations from the Mexican Film Academy Awards and 55 international awards. As you can see from the trailer, it's getting massive kudos from horror heavyweights, too. Stephen King described the film as “both tough and touching. Two minutes in, I was under its spell.” Neil Gaiman called it “a fairy-tale for today. Beautiful, shocking and chilling.”

Tigers Are Not Afraid arrives at select North American theaters this August.
