To celebrate his 50th birthday, Tony Hawk marked the occasion by doing 50 of his signature tricks.

The impressive video begins by giving us insight into Hawk's dedication to skating. "When I first started skating what drew me in was all the creativity involved," Hawk explains. "Skateboarding is always progressing, there was always something new to learn and it was this blank canvas. That's been my drive ever since, just learning new tricks.

"As I turn 50, I thought it would be fun to try and revisit some of the tricks I created," the skater continues. "I realized very quickly that they're not as easy as they used to be. Some of these, this will be the last time I do them, but that's okay, we had a good run."

After doing an insane 49 tricks in a row, Hawk breaks briefly before jumping into his final 50th trick. Watch the incredible video above and let us know what you think in the comments below.
