UGG x Highsnobiety Kept Things Cozy For NYFW

It’s NYFW, of course, there was every kind of party, brand activation, and bespoke pop-up imaginable (we even got a brainrot-themed exhibition that saw our FYPs turn IRL). Among the competing events, Highsnobiety naturally joined the mix. Still, instead of intentionally adding more chaos to the calendar, we opted for something a bit cozier—the chaos just happened to come as a natural byproduct.

Making the cross-country call to SoCal, we invited UGG, the heritage lifestyle brand, out to New York to help us host an evening inspired by its cozy catalog. As an OG disruptor in the fashion industry, the staple footwear company is well-versed in shaking things up—tastefully. Harnessing the brand’s knack for non-conformity, we took a page out of the UGG playbook to kick off the six days of escapades in a manner that felt authentic to both powerhouses’ individual ethos.

Posted up in the Lower East Side last Thursday, at the corner of Bowery and Delancey—a storied intersection etched in downtown lore—the night drew out the fashion week faithful to The Ripple Room, one of the area’s burgeoning hangouts. Soon after the doors opened, just shy of 10 P.M., on the East Coast, the block was quickly flooded with UGG-wearing socialites and Gen Z tastemakers, clamoring for a way inside the LES locale. On the other side of the entrance, a cast of familiar faces from across culture—also uniquely styled in the brand’s varying silhouettes—mingled between two floors of the chic wood-finished lounge.

Broodoo Ramses hopped behind the decks to start, tasked with setting the tone as attendees continued trickling in just in time to uphold their “fashionably late” reputations. Among the early arrivers,, Gucci Pineapple stepped out to serve as the night’s unofficial host. Decked out in a pinstripe suit and a pair of Classic Ultra Mini Weather Hybrid UGG boots, the lively MC playfully meandered around the space to share a moment with the party’s flyest patrons. From “model of the moment,” Julez Smith, and the fit god himself, Bloody Osiris, to Luar founder, Rual Lopez, and Love Island alumna, Chelley Bissainthe, the expanding cast of characters kept things fresh from doors open until last call.

Giving off major ‘70s afterparty energy—in essence, more than aesthetic—the exclusive evening continued to fill out, as partygoers mingled while savoring custom NYFW cocktails (The “Cozy-Tini” and “Big UGG Energy” proved favorites), exchanging their extensive plans for the days ahead. Martyna Maya, known to most by her DJ alias VTSS, closed things out with a strong set as members of the crowd grabbed their friends to secure one last stop in the custom photobooth, ensuring they left with a memento from the night.

Known for being bold, it’s really no surprise that UGG and Highsnobiety made the perfect pair to inaugurate this season’s NYFW. Curating sounds and sips that helped to inspire guests’ statement fits, it’s not a stretch to say that UGG Season is finally upon us, and man, does it look better than ever.
