Denim specialist EDWIN has revealed a Fall/Winter 2016 collection focusing on everyday basics, reworking archive styles with a modern-vintage approach.

EDWIN worked on elevating often understated garments with a color palette comprising black, navy, indigo, gray, beige, green, and light khaki. The brand uses premium quality fabrics, innovative wash treatments, and a clean approach to styling that balances the modern with the traditional.

Fabrics and silhouettes are typically workwear orientated; however, contemporary military references run throughout. Key outerwear styles include parkas, bombers, and flight jackets. Incorporating the modern sportswear trend, the brand has designed the Blackwatch Tartan Coach Jacket in a wool blend, alongside collegiate sweaters and track pants, Henley tops, and athletic tees.

In addition, the brand offers winter staples with upgraded premium features including sherpa lined wool overshirts, crew neck cable knits, and corduroy cotton chinos.

Denim — the label's core product — is championed by the Japanese Edwin E Standard Collection which features a traditional leather back patch with the slogan ‘The Pride of Made In Japan’. Mainline selvage and non-selvage collections cover various fits, fabrics, and wash treatments.
