Italian sportswear brand Kappa are back for SS18 with a new collection that is sure to strike a chord with those nostalgic for ’80s and ’90s youth culture.
Football, fisticuffs and Ford Fiestas all feature in a lookbook that explores the carefree freedom of youth with a series of images shot entirely on 35mm film.
The label’s ‘Omini’ logo, which became iconic throughout the 80’s and 90’s due to its association with a host of European football clubs, features prominently throughout the collection. The logo, which contains boy and girl sitting back to back, represents ‘equality’ and can be found emblazoned on hoodies, t-shirts, and jackets throughout.
A standout from the collection is the brand’s hugely popular side-striped tracksuit, which we have seen posted all over Instagram in recent months.
Keep an eye out for the collection when it drops next year.
