The adidas Forum Square Loafer has officially gone wild.

Mind you, it's already a pretty wild shoe, with adidas taking the upper of the classic basketball model and pairing it with a squared rubber sole unit that also includes a heel. Translation: adidas transformed the Forum Low into this offbeat square-toe, heeled dress shoe.

Now, it features animal print, too.

The latest adidas Forum loafers land with mostly all-black leather uppers, with leopard-print fur covering the tongue and toe box. The angular sole also gets blacked out.

Aside from that one suede makeover from Forget-me-nots, the adidas model, also known as the Forum Cubism, has mostly appeared in luxe leather.

And although strange by design, the Forum Square Loafers are like no other adidas dress model. The weirdness of it is what makes it intriguing. That kind of explains why it's sold out at retail.

We're expecting the same outcome for the new animal-print pairs, which are now up for grabs on adidas Japan's website for ¥19,800, or around $123.
