Like it or not, the digital world is now a central component of every aspect of our lives. Many would turn back the clock, given the chance, to a simpler time. But, it’s worth taking note of the times when technology actually makes the world a better place.
For adidas Run For The Oceans 2022, runners can download the adidas Running app and join the challenge. Every 10 minutes of running tracked in the app between May 23 and June 8 will clean up the equivalent of one plastic bottle.
If you ever needed a reason to run, this is it. Aside from the myriad physical and mental health benefits, or the fact it’s just good fun to move, that is. But, in order to make the most of your running minutes for adidas Run For The Oceans, you’re going to need the right kit.
Below, we’ve rounded up 10 pieces helping us rack up the minutes, ranging from Parley collaborations to staple running gear.

Made in collaboration with Parley out of at least 50 percent Parley Ocean Plastic and 50 percent recycled polyester, there's no better pair of shoes to record your minutes with.
Made to Be Remade Tee
adidas' Made to Be Remade pieces are pretty amazing. Once you're done with them, simply send them back to adidas and they'll be revitalized and sent out to somebody new.
Made to Be Remade Shorts
Don't worry, though. They're broken down and completely remade, not just washed...
The adidas Adizero is one of the most balanced running trainers on the market and this pair, made in collaboration with Parley, boasts approximately 40 percent less emissions per pair when compared to its previous version.
The clue's in the name people. Although the adidas Running app will only track your minutes for the Run For The Oceans initiative, it never hurts to go fast.
Own The Run T-Shirt
Cut from adidas AEROREADY fabric, this T-shirt keeps you well ventilated from start to finish. It's also made entirely out of recycled materials.
Own The Run Pants
Wearing pants on a run is pretty divisive, but if you've never tried running in AEROREADY pants then don't judge this pair too quickly. You won't look back.
Black running tops are a flattering choice, avoiding the enormous sweat patch look. But they fall down at night time because you become almost invisible. Not with this one though, thanks to reflective patches for low-light runs.
Designed 2 Move Shorts
If you're not a fan of the all-black running look, then it's nice to introduce some unusual colors into your gear. This pair of murky green shorts is ideal: not too loud, but a nice departure from the safe monochrome looks.
Ultraboost Made To Be Remade
Yes, even Ultraboosts can be made to be remade. When you've clocked as many miles as is comfortable in this pair, send them back to adidas so that someone else can enjoy them too.
