Highsnobiety
Double Tap to Zoom

Berlin retailer Andreas Murkudis is putting its money where its mouth is with a benefit sale aimed at generating funds for Ukrainian refugees settling in the German capital, in partnership with brands it sells and aligns with.

Over 100 labels are participating in Andreas Murkudis' sale, including big names like Acne Studios, sacai, Jil Sander, Veilance, OAMC, Mykita, and many more.

We're also getting in the action with a selection of in-house Highsnobiety goods.

Clothing, accessories, homeware, books, artwork, beauty goods, food, drinks, and everything else you can imagine will be on hand, with tunes provided by Ukrainian DJs Gael and Roma Saplin, members of the enigmatic ∄ Club based in Kyiv.

All the money generated from the sale will benefit Be an Angel e.V., Moabit hilft e.V. and Mensch Mensch Mensch e.V., non-profits that aid refugees in acclimating to Berlin.

Berlin is now "the No. 1 gateway" for the countless refugees fleeing Russia's war in Ukraine.

Supposedly, over 160k Ukrainians have thus far resettled in Germany's capital city, though experts figure the total number is actually quite a bit higher and doesn't include non-Ukrainian refugees.

Berlin is one of the many European cities that immediately felt the war's side-effects, though residents immediately took up the cause of welcoming refugees, with everyone from tech companies to avant-garde retailers pitching in.

There are of course ample ways to donate to causes making a positive difference amidst Russian aggression even if you're many miles away; plenty of fashion brands have already taken up the cause.

And, if you're in Berlin on April 9, stop by Andreas Murkudis to shop for a cause that's more than worth your hard-earned money.
