Balenciaga recently opened its new flagship store in New York City. The 4,400 square foot location was envisioned by the brand's creative director Demna Gvasalia and features futuristic themes inspired by a public domain and urbanism.

Designs are very minimalistic throughout, and feature a mostly-glass exterior, wraparound screens displaying atmospheric videos on loop and terrifyingly realistic mannequins based on 3-D scans of Balenciaga runway models. They look way too real!

To give customers an even more unique shopping experience, an on-site graffiti artist will be customizing new and classic Balenciaga bags with names, initials, or birthdates for a limited time. A limited-edition New York version of the brand’s slate grey leather Shopping Tote will also be available only at the new NYC flagship.

The Balenciaga NYC flagship store is located at 620 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10022.
