Ahead of this week's official reveal event, Battlefield's Twitter account has shared a brief teaser to heighten anticipation surrounding Battlefield 5.

Previous reports have suggested that a World War II setting is likely, as the on-hand footage all but confirms such, with the implementation of British Union Jack and German Iron Cross flag designs. Rumors have also been circulating surrounding a potential battle royale mode for the game.

This is all we have on Battlefield 5 for now, which is expected to release by the end of the year. Look forward to seeing more during the Wednesday, May 23 reveal.

In other video game news, 'Fortnite' is expected to be getting jetpacks very soon.
