After five years in development, Gearbox has officially unveiled Borderlands 3. During a live stream event at PAX East, the San Francisco gaming company gave fans the first look at new characters, villains, landscapes, and the massive arsenal of weapons to use.

The trailer doesn't give too much away, but we did get a few glimpses of exciting environments, including a futuristic urban city that resembles Crackdown 3's New Providence. If that doesn't get you excited, the video also confirms that the game will be filled with tons of loot to chase with the inclusion of over one billion guns – even one with legs.

Unfortunately, a release date hasn't been announced yet, but with E3 2019 around the corner, fans will hopefully get to learn more about the upcoming shooter sooner than later.
