Chanel is introducing a slick new timepiece to its men's timepiece line, a blacked-out version of the Monsieur. The ceramic-cased, monochromatic Monsieur Édition Noire is relatively quiet compared with its collection counterparts, most of which boast baguette-cut diamonds, sculpted lions, and the like. But in terms of sleek design, it's a standout piece.

Like other Monsieur timepieces, the watch boasts an in-house movement developed in collaboration with independent watchmaker Romain Gauthier. It features a 42-millimeter matte black ceramic case with a grained matte black dial, raised and silvered details, and Calibre 1 movement with a 72-hour power reserve.

The Monsieur Édition Noire is slated to arrive during Baselworld 2019, which takes place this March. More information to follow.
