Elaina Lauren Bernstein is Highsnobiety’s Music Editor. With a particular affinity for underground hip hop and the intersection of music and fashion, she was previously writing for Hypebeast for three years, eventually becoming Music Editor and overseeing the publication’s music vertical, Hypetrak. During her time there, she gave a selection of emerging rappers a space to tell their stories, with names including Niontay, Ovrkast., Sk8star, redveil, and diamond* — before any other big publication believed in him. She served as the Deputy Editor for the first Hypetrak Magazine in 10 years, curating a selection of the talent lineup and writing a majority of the stories. Her starting lineup of interviews she’s done so far: A$AP Rocky, TiaCorine, Liim, Jean Dawson, Larry June and Rico Nasty.
