Watch 48-Minute Gameplay Demo of 'Cyberpunk 2077'
CD Project Red, the Polish developer behind The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has released a 48-minute-long gameplay demo for its upcoming title, Cyberpunk 2077. Watch above from around the 31:40-minute mark to see the game in action — although keep in mind that it's a work in process. Everything you see might change in the final version, Hexus reports.
The first-person RPG walkthrough goes through numerous game elements, from character classes to navigating Night City on a mission to rescue a target individual. In one section, we see the player investigating scavengers who have been harvesting people's body implants for the black market.
The game is an adaptation of tabletop role-playing game Cyberpunk 2020, which is set in a dystopian universe. Watch the trailer below.
Per IGN's write-up, the PC used to run the impressive gameplay demo is a "beast" boasting specs that would clock up a $1,800 bill on Amazon. While that is a hefty sum, IGN notes that it's "reassuring to see that 2077 is running on actual over-the-counter hardware and not some secret next-gen supercomputer."
More information to follow.
