DELL Debuts Paris Fashion Week's Sleekest Tech

Looking for a new laptop is a task that every non-tech person dreads. Falling down rabbit holes of processors, storage capacity, and not to mention whether it will fit in your vintage designer bag you just picked up at the friperie. One solution is buying the same one you had before—sure, it broke down, but who has the time these days to stray from old routine? But, the better solution is DELL’s new XPS 13 Laptop, launched last Friday at the retro-futurist HAUS by Dell Technologies event, designed by Tom Ducarouge.

A free event hosted in Le Marais during Paris Fashion Week, HAUS provided a space to cool down during the height of the Paris heatwave with an evening of talks and workshops, followed by an all-day music programme curated by Rinse FM. Built with design, craftsmanship, materials and portability, the XPS 13 promises to deliver on style and substance without compromise. And HAUS was no exception. With a lineup of performers at the forefront of innovation, HAUS put guests at the junction between technology, culture, and taste.

HAUS wasn’t just about tech, or launching the XPS 13, it cemented its role in Paris Fashion Week as its own unique experience. Culture and style don’t just live in the senses, there is a deeper level of craftsmanship that lies beneath each and every performance. DELL’s purpose is clear - to allow people to experience the XPS 13 before they buy it, to experience the meticulous internal design beyond the sleek exterior.

The programme kicked off with a performance from viral pianist and artist Precious Renee Tucker. An instrument associated with the classical days of yore, Tucker defies the expectation of what piano music can be, playing 2 keyboards at once to transform the instrument into a tool for experimentation and creativity. Her art is not a product, or mechanic to show off her multi-keyboard skills, Tucker’s work is designed to make people feel.

Experimental hip-hop artist MIKE was next to take the stage. With the double-barrelled title of performer-producer, MIKE’s sound is frequently labelled as experimental, his production style complimenting his lyricism with a unique melange of rhythm and sampling. His music’s defining trait is that very quality—the style is unmissable from your first listen, with underlying craftsmanship that sits shallow beneath the surface.

The lineup concluded with House DJ Theo Parrish, ending the programme with his signature unexpected genre blends. Making a name for himself by mixing classics with obscurities, Parrish’s sets are a journey into the unanticipated. Typically transfixing, House music is the perfect way to sign-off any soirée, you’re dancing, you’re connecting, and taking the last sips of your GhostLab Vodka cocktail, making sure every last drop of melon, lime, and raspberry are savoured. Unsure whether to grab your next one, the energy in the room suddenly shifts as Parrish seamlessly transitions to the next track. It’s unexpected, and leads you to listen-in more to his music, digging deeper with each new moment to try and predict what his next move will be. But you never can. Parrish’s intimate knowledge of different genres from New Wave to Disco allow him to respond to a crowd by constantly subverting their expectations, keeping you dancing late into the night.

XPS 13 with Intel Core Series 3 is available as of June 2026. Intel Core Ultra Series 3 options following later this summer. Find out more at DELL.
