News broke last night that Drake and producer Scooter Braun are now co-owners of Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag’s eSports organization 100 Thieves. The pair joined as the company completed its Series A funding round.

The official press release announcing Drake and Braun’s involvement describes 100 Thieves as a lifestyle and apparel brand first ahead of an eSports brand. Over recent years it has positioned itself as somewhat like the Supreme of eSports, according to The Verge.

Drake is no stranger to eSports, having played Fortnite with popular Twitch streamer Ninja earlier this year. While his in-game skills aren’t exactly up to scratch (Drake hid in a bush spawning some hilarious memes), the rapper’s investment is being lauded as a clever business move.

Drake and Braun join Haag, who is extremely popular on YouTube and influential within the eSports entertainment sphere, and Cleveland Cavaliers chairman, Dan Gilbert, as co-owners.
