On July 27th, Highsnobiety and FILA hosted a panel in New York City to kick off the launch of Explore, FILA’s all-new limited-edition outdoor-wear inspired collection. The event took place at 428 Broadway in SoHo, a space that the iconic sportstyle brand transformed into an Explore pop-up store.

The panel, hosted by Highsnobiety’s Editorial Director, Jian DeLeon, featured cultural commentator Brandon “Jinx,” holistic nutritionist Bianca Valle, and FILA’s V.P. of Heritage & Trend, Louis W. Colon III. The multi-hyphenate creatives spoke on tapping into your adventurous spirit. The conversation touched on how to introduce a sense of discovery into your everyday routine, how exploration translates online, from Instagram’s Explore page to Spotify’s algorithms that populate your discover playlist, and much more.

Also, the panelists emphasized the importance of embracing fear, because stepping outside of your comfort zone is where growth happens. “There are no losses,” Valle says, “only lessons and wins.” To hear more and to get a snapshot of the event, peep the video below.

The FILA Explore collection features a wide range of pieces for men and women, including sneakers, tactical pants, utility vests, and windbreakers, just to name a few. And it’s all on display at the pop-up (for the next three weeks) along with themed rooms that bring the outdoors indoors for a cool, immersive experience.
