Footshop

Prague’s premium streetwear store Footshop is celebrating its 10th birthday in style this year. Teaming up with 10 artists from 10 of the store’s operating regions, Footshop presents a collection of 10 unique cardboard chairs. Yes, cardboard chairs. But not just that. Each chair comes with a pair of custom Reebok Classic Leather Grow sneakers to match the unique artworks. Add in an exclusive Footshop Meets Reebok capsule collection and this is starting to sound like a real 10th birthday celebration.

Conceived as part of Footshop’s long-term mission to incorporate environmentally sustainable processes into its operations, each chair in the project is made from old cardboard boxes found in the Footshop warehouse. Once 10 identical chairs had been constructed, 10 artists were given free rein in decorating the structures, transforming them into unique works of art.

If you’re lucky enough to secure one of the works, you’ll receive a one-of-a-kind custom pair of Reebok Classics with it. Be sure to enter the raffle from December 9 here, with raffle winners announced on December 14.

Accompanying the artworks is a unisex capsule collection entitled Footshop Meets Reebok. Characterized by prints, references, and quotes that have been associated with Footshop since day one, the collection nods to the 10 years that have seen this start-up transform into one of Europe’s premier streetwear stores. The Footshop Meets Reebok collection consists of three T-shirts and two hoodies and will be available from December 9.
