A home-invasion robbery investigation is underway at a Calabasas home belonging to rapper French Montana (Karim Kharbouch), reports TMZ.

According to law enforcement, they received a call to Montana's crib around 9 a.m. PST this morning – several hours after the crime had occurred. Montana along with an unknown number of people were home during the time of the robbery.

Investigators said at least two armed men forced their way into the house – however, it's unclear what exactly (if anything) was actually stolen – and possibly fled on foot. A detailed description of the suspects was not released, as cops are still investigating the crime. Additionally, TMZ reported that no one required hospitalization.

Interestingly enough, the home which is located in a gated community was previously owned by Selena Gomez – until eventually selling the house to French Montana, following her own security problems.

The story is still developing, we'll be sure to update the story as we learn more.
