It's been a while since we've had any update on the Gucci Mane biopic that's currently underway at Paramount Pictures and Image Entertainment. But now, thanks to a recent chat Mane had with Ebro Darden, we have an idea of who he's eyeing up to portray him.

"I would like to do it, but you know I'm open to somebody else doing it as well. But I feel like I could do it," he explained, which is understandable considering the movie will be based on his best-selling autobiography.

If he can't play himself though, Gucci does have some actors in mind. "The guy who plays the lead character (Damien Idris) in Snowfall, I think he's dope."

Alternatively, he says, 45-year-old Omari Hardwick (Power) could be great, too. "I feel like Ghost should play me at the end," he says, revealing that he's planning a type of Moonlight situation with different actors playing him at different ages.

As for a release date, we're a long way from that point as they're "still writing the script."

Watch Gucci Mane discuss his movie with Ebro from the six-minute mark in the video below.
