We’re all sick of extended lockdowns, hardly any social interaction, and glacial temperatures, but if there’s one positive to come out of all of this, it’s the fact that we can stay in our cozy fits all day long, for days on end.

H&M’s most recent drop of its Blank Staples collection encapsulates the fundamental basics attributed to everyday wear. The considered collection is versatile, minimalist, and above all comfortable. Whether you’re lounging in front of Netflix, typing away in your snug home office, or heading out for a brisk walk in the cold, these easy to mix-and-match garments have got you covered. This collection ticks all the boxes when it comes to decluttering your wardrobe, getting down to the key essentials, and focusing on good old classic design.

To show you exactly what we mean, we showcased some of the collections best fits from around the world.

I'm spending a lot more time at home, but nevertheless, I want to feel good, so I'm always looking for high-quality sets. Track pants, hoodies, and thick knitted sweaters are absolute key pieces for me. They can be easily combined together and you always look well dressed - add a couple of trendy sneakers or rough boots and a cozy coat and you're good to go.

I personally don’t like the idea of sitting in denim jeans all day, so a comfy fit is a must! My advice [for this collection'] would be, go tonal. It’s a great way to elevate the outfit without overcomplicating things, It’s just pleasing to the eye.

Key items in my wardrobe are the basic essentials; black and white tees, blue jeans, military boots, and sneakers. I'd have to say my favorite piece from the collection would be the sweatpants because they're comfortable. My fits are minimal but I like to accessorize with maximilistic items. I do this to balance out my outfit so it’s not too loud but still looks fashionable

I realized I don’t have a definitive style but am able to reflect my mood with what I wear. I’ve gotten more comfortable with myself and dressing for myself - a way for me to feel pleasure within. The fit [of this collection] is perfect. It’s easy to substitute what you'd normally wear for one of the pieces from the collection. [What I love about minimalism is] if everything is sitting right it’s a visual beauty. No branding needed.

I’ve literally been living in track pants and T-shirts in search of coziness. [Out of the whole collection,] the full tracksuit is my favorite. The minimal style & feel of the premium cotton is just perfect on my skin. It's really just reassured me that less is more.

Key items for me [in my wardrobe] are pants because they shape your whole outfit, then come jackets and sneakers to finish off - the most important thing for me is the shape of the fit. The importance of a minimal style in my opinion is the fact that people will pay attention to the actual fit itself and not the brands you’re wearing. You don’t need to wear known brands to be well dressed.

I’m always searching for the comfiest fit, for me, this is the most important when you dress up. [With this collection] just be natural, you don’t need to wear too much stuff - love layering for sure. I think we never really change our style, it grows with us, with what we do in life, with what we're looking for. [In terms of my personal wardrobe,] I’m not too heavy on logos everywhere, but I like illustration or texts. I love to wear minimal stuff, I think I’m just growing up that’s it haha
