Luxury Swiss brand HYT is known for futuristic and collectible watch designs with a particularly innovative method for telling the time. Staying true to traditional Swiss watchmaking, its team elevate timepieces using mechanical movements which trigger liquid propulsion, and these extraordinary feats of engineering can now be shopped at online fashion destination Browns.

The watches, which range in price from the low $40,000s to just over $86,000, use two flexible reservoirs (aka bellows) – one filled with a colored liquid and the other a transparent one. Traditional watch mechanics activate the system via a piston which drives these bellows to compress and expand as the hours go by.

Aside from its unique mechanism, HYT watches come decked out in luxury materials including yellow gold, sapphire crystal faces. DLC stainless steel, titanium, and carbon cases. Each is water resistant up to 30m and comes with a 65-hour power reserve.

Favorites of ours include the HYT Ho Croc watch in red and gold, the cracked-face effect HO "Time is Precious" edition, and a dope blue skull-embellished rendition.
