This just in! Our social media profiles have been compromised. This is not a drill.

At exactly 9 AM on Tuesday, April 22, Highsnobiety’s social media channels were hacked, the only evidence left behind being an obscure caption: “Make Something.” Soon after, a star Chevron symbol was spotted tagged in Tompkins Square Park, a known congregation site for creative rulebenders. However, no additional context was given, and no further demands have been made…yet.

We’ve spent the last several hours combing through digital debris—server logs, suspicious metadata trails, login attempts, resetting passwords, and interrogating our interns (just in case). So far? Nothing. No ransom note. No manifesto. No shadowy communiqué pulling the strings behind the scenes. Just that symbol—deliberately placed and demanding attention—and a growing sense that someone, somewhere, is pushing us to do something. Or become something. Or unravel something bigger than all of us.

As our internal investigation escalates, the questions are multiplying. Was this the work of a rogue artist? A cryptic strategist with a master plan? An underground movement waiting to be answered? Our detectives have reached one clear conclusion: whoever’s behind this wants to make something impossible to ignore. But our questions remain: why now? And what happens next?

In the meantime, we ask you, our ever-discerning audience, to weigh in. If you have seen this symbol before or have possibly been recruited by an underground society hell-bent on “making something”, our DMs are open. All leads are welcome.

Stay tuned as we uncover the latest through our exclusive newsroom investigation. This story is far from over.
