Earlier this month, Kilo Kish started teasing a mysterious project titled Mothe on Instagram. Until now, the conceptual artist hadn't dropped any new material since her 2016 album Reflections In Real Time. That same year, she was also featured on Vince Staples' Prima Donna EP. Today, Kish shares a trip-hop tinged single called "Elegance" off her forthcoming EP along with a whimsical accompanying visual that was filmed in Tokyo.

In a recent interview with PAPER, she explained how Mothe revolves around "the intersection of nature and the electricity found in all things" and her own personal metamorphosis. Kish also mentioned that she was sonically influenced by video game soundtracks from the '90s and early 2000s—she even digitally recreated herself into a video game character while working on the EP.

Mothe is out on September 7 via Blacksmith Recordings. Dive into the wonderful world of Kilo Kish's inquisitive mind in the video above.
