Shy Girls, a.k.a. Dan Vidmar, just released his second album, called Bird on the Wing.

Bird on the Wing was self-produced and recorded in Vidmar's home studio. It features a mix of minimalist grooves, lo-fi soul, and contemporary R&B. Vidmar said of the album, "This is not so much a departure for me but a return to the essence of my earliest work... groovy and pulsating, even fun at times." Listen to it below.

The album follows on from Shy Girls' debut album Salt, released in 2017.

Shy Girls is heading off on a tour around the US in the wake of releasing Bird on the Wing. The 20-date tour starts in Seattle on April 18, and finishes up in San Francisco on May 18.
