Hennessy Very Special Cocktails Presents:

Henny Season Takes the Field in LA for Game Day

When it comes to parties in Los Angeles, Angelenos can be a tough crowd to please. If it's too far, they might skip it. Too cold? Forget about it. A little rain? Even worse. And don't get us started on a long line. But Hennessy Very Special Cocktails knew exactly how to get people through the door: football, their new cocktail lineup in three flavors Henny-Rita, Henny Berry, Henny Iced Tea, and even better company. Taking over Lombardi House for the Ohio State vs. USC matchup on Halloween, the French Maison brought together everything LA loves for a proper game-day affair. And despite a little rain, the crowd showed up ready to go. In a city where getting people out of the house is a win in itself, Hennessy had already scored.

Ushering in the watch party vibes, DJs Vestia and Grace Ktown kept things moving with sounds spanning different eras and genres, each bringing their own flavor to the afternoon. Vestia held things down near the entrance, setting the tone with Beyoncé, of course, as guests arrived, while Grace Ktown took over inside, spinning alongside the brand’s lineup of festivities. From the pool to arcade games to Karaoke to customizable jerseys, the music followed guests throughout the space, creating two distinct vibes under one roof. Whether you were just walking in or already posted up with a cocktail in hand, there was always a beat to keep the afternoon going.

Of course, what’s a game-day gathering without a good drink or two…or three? Making sure guests stayed refreshed throughout the afternoon, Hennessy brought out three of its newest specialty cocktails inspired by the classics, just pour over ice and enjoy. Each offered a fresh spin on the Hennessy Very Special Cocktails experience, with the Henny Berry blending the tartness of black currant with the subtle sweetness of blackberry, while the Henny Iced Tea brought citrus and vanilla notes, a new take on the classic fan favorite. Alongside the Henny-Rita, the lineup gave guests plenty of reason to make a few trips to the bar between plays. Among those enjoying the cocktails were actors Madison Pettis and Cornell Young IV, as well as two-time Olympian and World Champion Jordan Chiles, who pulled up alongside friends, cocktail in hand, soaking up the vibes and getting in on the game-day spirit. Paired with game-day bites and good company, the cocktail lineup was just as much a part of the afternoon as the football itself. After all, whether you were rooting for Ohio State or USC, there was one thing everyone could agree on: a little Henny makes game day better.

As the sun started to dip and the evening rolled in, it was safe to say Hennessy Very Special Cocktails had the game-day formula down. Between the DJs keeping things lively, cocktails flowing, and plenty of friendly competition happening around the property, there wasn't much reason to leave. Even a little rain couldn't put a damper on the festivities, with guests making the most of the Halloween afternoon, an unexpected pregame, before heading into whatever the night had in store. All in all, it was a pretty solid way to spend game day. And if this is what watching football outside the stadium looks like, we'll gladly take the invite.
