A few days ago, YouTube shut down lofi hip hop radio  beats to relax/study to, a popular instrumental live-stream account that plays chilled beats to a continuously-looping video of an animated girl doing her homework. The streaming platform reinstated the account soon after, along with an apology, but not before fans of the station went lost their cool Twitter.

The account behind lofi, ChilledCow, was accidentally banned by YouTube for "violating its Terms of Service." In a since-deleted tweet, ChilledCow messaged the platform directly and asked for an explanation — backed up by an influx of angry fans — which appeared to work.
