Applications for the seventh edition of the LVMH Prize For Young Fashion Designers are now open.

The competition is open to all designers under 40 who have produced at least two womenswear, menswear, or unisex collections. The winner, selected by a panel of industry experts (to be revealed soon), will receive €300,000 and a 12-month mentorship provided by LVMH. Previous winners include Marine Serre, Grace Wales Bonner, Jacquemus, Hood By Air, and last year's winner, South-African designer Thebe Magugu.

Like the 2019 prize, next year will include the Karl Lagerfeld Prize, which rewards a young designer with €150,000 and grants them access to a one-year mentorship program. The LVMH Prize 2020 will also honor three young fashion school graduates who completed their studies in 2019/2020 by allocating them and their school a €10,000 grant as well as an opportunity to join the creative team at one of the LVMH fashion houses for one year.

Applications can be submitted here. The deadline for submission is Sunday, February 2, 2020.
