Mercer has grown by leaps and bounds since launching almost three years ago. Following its recently released FW16 knitted range, the brand just unveiled a brand new knitted silhouette reminding us why they’re one of Amsterdam’s most exciting new brands.

The sneaker features an Italian fabric blend knitted upper engineered to be light, formfitting and seamless. The knit is joined by perforated Italian nubuck, soft Italian suède on the toe, golden eyelets, golden branding on the tongue and gold-tipped black waxed cotton laces. The memory foam sole is lightweight and adapts to the foot, while the Italian outsole features a see-through effect for a modern aesthetic.

The shoe embodies Mercer’s three main design principles: international, independent and street luxury. These pillars support a reliable brand philosophy giving its products global appeal and legitimacy within the overcrowded fashion market.

Mercer will present its Fall/Winter ‘17 collection at Pitti Uomo 91 in Florence between January 10 and 13. The new Waverly sneaker drops January 13 at Flannels, Shoebaloo and other selected Mercer retailers; alternatively, shop directly with the brand online via the link below.
