This piece appears as part of “Not In Paris,” an online exhibition hosted and curated by Highsnobiety. Head here to see the full series.

Earlier this year, Maison Margiela’s contemporary line MM6 launched a collaboration with The North Face for the FW20 collection at London Fashion Week. It was a perfect meeting of technical precision, functionality, and avant-garde that saw Alpine gloves tweaked with a Tabi-like split finger appendages, zippered Denali jackets extended into dresses, and the iconic Nuptse puffer jacket rounded off into a perfect circle with detachable sleeves.

Seen here for the first time since the runway debut, our new editorial from Creative Director Christen Mooney takes us through an indoor camping trip in NYC.
