This piece first appeared as part of "Not In Paris," an online exhibition hosted and curated by Highsnobiety. Head here to see the full series.

Earlier this year at London Fashion Week, Maison Margiela’s contemporary line MM6 launched a collaboration with The North Face for FW20 and it's now available for pre-order.

The collab is a perfect meeting of technical precision, functionality, and avant-garde that sees Alpine gloves tweaked with a Tabi-like split-finger appendages, zippered Denali jackets extended into dresses, and the iconic Nuptse puffer jacket rounded off into a perfect circle with detachable sleeves.

The collaboration is available at Maison Margiela and at MM6 Maison Margiela boutiques with prices ranging from $300-$1,600 from October 12.

Early this year, our Not In Paris editorial from Creative Director Christen Mooney took us through an indoor camping trip in NYC in the new pieces.
