New Balance’s 1080v15—the latest chapter in the 1080 series—has just landed and it’s concrete proof that New Balance is feeling faster than ever.

For runners, the New Balance 1080 family will be a familiar fixture, first landing in 2016 with the introduction of the brand’s proprietary Fresh Foam sole material. Now, a decade on, we’re treated to one of the most advanced New Balance running shoes yet: the 1080v15.

Enhanced cushioning throughout the sole unit means better energy return in every step which combines with Infinion tech in the midsole to ensure that the shoe feels springy for longer, preventing compression of the cushioning over time. 

It doesn’t end with all of the new technology integrated in the sole unit, though. An improved upper features contoured, perforated mesh for breathability as well as giving the shoe a revamped aesthetic.

In the signature Afterglow colorway, the New Balance 1080v15 looks highly technical and super sporty. Visually lightweight but also loaded with character, it’s already a serious contender for best-looking performance runner this year.
