Nike ACG has had a few months to remember. After Nike announcing that the outdoor line would be reintroduced in 2026, the subbrand was sure to see an uptick in interest, but the Swoosh didn’t leave it there.

The Winter Olympics in Milan set the perfect stage to double down on the importance of Nike ACG, showcasing the brand’s new look on athletes and even a fully painted ACG train. But beyond the headlines remain the truest test: the products. Enter, the Nike ACG Rufus SE in a Japanese-style floral finish.

Thus far, the Nike ACG Rufus has been a quiet member of the ACG footwear lineup. Always there, but never in the spotlight, it’s a highly functional slip-on silhouette with a heavy-duty sole unit.

As such, it’s ideal to slip on after an expedition. But until now, the Rufus has been delivered in understated, simple colorways and fabrics. The latest Nike ACG Rufus lands with a beautifully geometric floral upper.

The sole unit remains as rugged as ever in a neutral, sandy hue with subtle speckle detailing. A purple mini Swoosh pops visually at the toe, mirroring purple hits to the outsole.

If anything, the neutral sole unit only emphasizes the outstanding beauty of the upper. It’s a departure from the practicality we’ve become accustomed to with this silhouette.

In a jacquard-like fabric, the upper features Japanese-inspired geometric floral patterns. In tandem with the cork insoles, they instil a sense of organic calm to the design.
