Nike's Court Classic Is Now Smooth Like Chocolate
It’s nothing new to see that Nike has elevated its 1982 court classic into luxury lifestyle territory by letting rich materials do the talking. But, arriving in August 2026, the Nike Air Force 1 '07 Low LV8 Cacao Wow/Light British Tan is a cut above.
Rather than relying on bright colors or loud graphics, the Swoosh design team focuses entirely on tactile depth here, wrapping the low-top profile in a multi-toned palette inspired by artisanal leatherwork and rich cocoa shades.
Standard smooth synthetic overlays make way for buttery, high-texture leathers, switching lanes between classic basketball heritage and something closer to artisanal luxury footwear.
The upper is built around a warm Light British Tan leather base that dresses the toe box, midfoot quarter panels, and eyestays. Soft Cacao Wow leather accents complement the already sophisticated base to create a smooth, chocolate-toned contrast against the lighter tan frame.
In a stroke of genius, a warm off-white midsole provides the subtle vintage foundation to remind us that this is, indeed, still a pair of sneakers. The underfoot setup retains encapsulated Nike Air cushioning and the classic 360-degree pivot tread for reliable, all-day street comfort.
There’s no way around the fact that the triple-white and triple-black versions of the Air Force 1 are and always will be the pinnacle of the silhouette. But who says we can’t add something a bit more sumptuous to our rotation this fall, too?
