Nike's Insanely Brazen Air Force 1 Is Running a Fever
Nike's Air Force 1 is one of a handful of sneaker silhouettes with the luxury of not needing to reinvent itself. It just needs to show up in the right colour.
Stadium Green and Laser Orange? Yeah, that'll do it.
The heat map-inspired colour treatment is the whole story here, a bold green bleeds into a fiery orange across the upper and midsole like the shoe ran a fever and nobody stopped it.
It sounds wild on paper. In reality, it just looks really, really good. The familiar AF1 Low shape keeps everything grounded, because when the colour is doing this much work, you don't need the silhouette to try too hard.
Shiny smooth leather keeps things premium, and a special star dubrae on the laces is the kind of detail worthy of a second glance, then a third, just to make sure you saw it right. Nike really didn't have to go this hard. And yet.
Strange, vibrant, and somehow completely wearable. The Nike Air Force 1 Low in Stadium Green and Laser Orange drops on Nike’s website April 16 for $130.
